"One of the earliest congregations in Ellicott City, St. Luke AME is an historic black church on Main Street. When the original elders gathered in 1860 to plan the church, they did so in a small structure on Merryman St, where my husband and I now live. The original grey stone wall was swept away during one of Ellicott City's floods. A small section of the wall remains. This is a whimsical rendition collaged with papers that I create."
